鲍特年斯基,1751年生于乌克兰的Hlukhiv镇,1825年10月10日去世。乌克兰作曲家,歌唱家,指挥家,生平活跃于俄国。他最初开始接触音乐训练有可能是在当时Hlukhiv镇上的唱诗班里。1758年,他去俄国皇家宫廷唱诗班演唱,在那里,他成为伊丽莎白女皇最钟爱的唱诗班男童之一。由于他独特的天赋,他在歌剧院接受训练并最终被委以主角的重任:1764年他在H.F.Raupach的Al’tsesta中饰演主角阿德墨托斯。
